为加强春节期间“田子坊”的消防安全，景区物业管理部门专门安排一辆小型轻便消防车24 小时驻防，同时也作为消防
宣传体验之用。游客在享受石库门里弄风情的同时，又体验到了新型消防装备带给游客们的平安“年味”。

2015年1月1日下午，市民与游客带着鲜花自发前往上海外滩陈毅广场，向“外滩踩踏事件”遇难者表达哀思。2014年12月31日23时35分许，上海外滩陈毅广场发生拥挤踩踏事故，致36人死亡，49人受伤。
